Gina Fill
Math Coach, MA, NBCT
Gina Fill is her school district’s first two time National Board Certified Teacher and has her Lead Professional Educator License, as well as a Ohio Teacher Leader and Master Teacher.
She is a multiple recipient of the Pillar of Excellence Award and Ambassador Award, Governor’s Educational Leadership Award for the State of Ohio and the School Bell Award. Gina has also served as Facilitator for the Educational Service Center and Regional Content Facilitator for Ohio Department of Education for Common Core State Standards for Mathematics.
Mrs. Fill works regularly with elementary teachers to create and enhance math lessons, in order to promote student problem solving and has authored multiple articles for the publication, Teaching Children Mathematics. She founded Instructional Coaching Empowerment™ to promote Instructional Coaching as an effective step that can be instrumental in helping schools everywhere to meet goals in mathematics, reading, and writing, and has published “Instructional Coaching Tools” to assist other coaches.
Gina enjoys her work as a math coach, as she gets to help accellerate learning for all students by building teacher capacity through implementation of effective practices. She especially enjoy collaborating with teachers, and providing job embedded professional development, as well as presenting to large and small groups.
